RigaTony’s SNAPS to the rescue

Hello Friends and Neighbors,

I think the last time I directly wrote to you was during the Covid crisis when I provided a series of updates of how we were coping with it. And as I think back, I have to say that I will forever be grateful for the support you showed us. We are still standing thanks to your encouragement and patronage. Now here I am with an update of how we’re reacting to the latest crisis

I’m sure you’re aware of the recent discontinuation of SNAP,  a program which provides supplemental food assistance to families in need. As a dedicated member of our community, we feel it’s our duty to step up and contribute however we can.

Therefore, effective immediately RigaTony’s will be offering FREE Family-Sized Spaghetti and Meatball Dinners to SNAP recipients. These meals will feed four family members and will include our famous Antipasto Salad and Ciabatta Bread

We will be donating 20 of these family-sized meals per day on a take-out basis only and we will continue this program until the SNAP program is reinstated. If you are enrolled in the SNAP program or know someone that is, simply call ahead at 480-899-1111 and order a SNAP Spaghetti dinner. It will be packaged to-go and can be picked up at our take-out window. Please show proof of your SNAP enrollment when picking up and please – no substitutions.

We have conducted community outreach programs in the past and the most frequent question from you has been “How can we help?” Well this time you can. For each donation of $10 we will serve an additional SNAP family meal in your name. You can donate at the restaurant or on our website (here) 

Hopefully this hardship will end soon, but in the meantime we are committed to helping however we can.
